Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
I am so glad you’re here!
Sit down with me for a moment, will you? Put your feet up and let’s talk about Hope.
Living comes with some hard things, right?
It is ‘hope’ that keeps us anchored.
When the seas of life become tumultuous, as they often will…
When the waves crash and the wind howls…
When a storm rages within and outside of us…
When we’ve been hurt – betrayed, abandoned, ridiculed, rejected, abused…
Or when we feel anxious and afraid…
It is ‘hope’ that anchors our soul.
My story includes sexual assault. Its impact has included depression. And at my worst — seeing no way out — death seemed like a welcome reprieve from the relentless pain.
I am alive today because of the grace of God. And by His grace, I have faith in Him.
Your experience might be different but I believe that the intent of the wounding is the same — to kill, steal and destroy. And the impact can be similar. When we give in to the assault our testimony is impacted. And that is the enemy’s intent.
Here, on these pages, my calling is to share from my brokenness. My desire is to show you how He is redeeming my story and that He can redeem yours too. He can take and anchor the uncertainty, hurt, brokenness, and rejection that you may be experiencing.
Will you join me?
